グランドファイナルは、敗者側トーナメントから勝ち上がった iBUYPOWER が0-2で勝利しプレーオフに突入。互いに優勝をかけた Best of 3マッチでは、上記スコアの通りどのマップも接戦ながらも iBUYPOWER が勝利となり優勝の座を勝ち取りました。

Season 13、Season 14は Ninjas in Pyjamasが優勝していたので、ホームのアメリカが優勝するのは Season 12 以来となります。

ホームでの開催 & 本来出場予定だったヨーロッパ3チームが出場不可という状況ではありましたが、アメリカチームがCS:GOの国際イベントでタイトルを獲得したのはシーンの出来事としては快挙と言って良いのではないでしょうか。
